It's always a pleasure when I have an opportunity at capturing the atmosphere at BrewLoops Festival. This year, the one-day event was organized to take place in a soon-to-be-developed lot on Kamloops' North Shore.
A highlight for me — in addition to the very well curated music lineup by Factotum CO. — was seeing so many friendly faces out enjoying themselves & being able to catch up with some people that I haven't had the pleasure of running into that often over the last couple of years.
Other standouts from the day were finally catching Vancouver's Babe Corner live, imbibing on an Italian Pilsner from Cannery Brewing & a Squash Gourdon from Red Collar Brewing Co. (a seasonal favourite), & while perhaps bittersweetly, being there to witness my good friend JP Lancaster's last show ever.
Overall, a huge thank you to the organizers for inviting me & for making BrewLoops possible. Without their hard work, events like this wouldn't exist in Kamloops.
